A true slice of Texas history:
Built in 1894 and designed by architect A.O. Watson using Romanesque and Renaissance Revival styles with limestone, granite, and pressed metal details.
Over the years it has been home to Taylor National Bank, Mantor and Briggs Law Firm, a local Weather Bureau office, and the Taylor Refining Company. Renovation and preservation efforts have been made in accordance with downtown Taylor’s historic district revival.
